The Lazy Prospector is perfect for solo or duo explorers, with one one comfy queen bed to rest your weary bones after a day of adventuring.

What amenities do you provide?

We’ve got the essentials covered so you can pack light and focus on the adventure. In the kitchen, you’ll find ground coffee (with French Press), tea, olive oil, herbs and spices, as well as an induction cooktop, convection microwave oven, and airfryer.

We also provide fresh sheets, plenty of towels, shampoo and conditioner, hairdryer, and iron - so you won’t need to rough it too much.

For warmth, there’s an electric heating and cooling system, but for those who prefer the crackle of a real fire, we’ve got a wood heater - and yes, we supply the firewood.

Basically, just bring your clothes, food, and drink of choice, and you’re all set.

Is there parking?

Absolutely! There’s plenty of secure off-street parking - big enough for your car, caravan, or campervan. So whether you’re rolling in solo or towing your home-on-wheels, we’ve got you covered.

Are you remote?

The West Coast feels remote, but The Lazy Prospector isn’t completely off the grid. It sits on the outskirts of Zeehan, with neighbours nearby but enough privacy and uninterrupted mountain views from the back verandah. You’ll get that “away from it all” feeling - without actually being in the middle of nowhere.
